The
Narrative for the class…
A young girl lives in a grand palace, surrounded by beauty, but she secretly
wishes for adventure and change. One day, while playing near the water, she
accidentally loses something very precious to her. Suddenly, a small,
unexpected creature appears and offers to help retrieve the lost item — but
only if she promises to give him companionship and kindness in return. Thinking
the promise is harmless, she quickly agrees, certain she won’t have to follow through.
When the creature shows up later to collect on her promise, she feels shocked
and hesitant. She tries to avoid him, feeling disgusted by his appearance and
unsure if she can go through with her words. But over time, she begins to
soften, realizing the importance of keeping promises and treating others with
respect. As she opens her heart, something magical begins to unfold. A
surprising transformation reveals that the creature was never what he seemed.
The young girl learns that true beauty and value lie beneath the surface. Her
act of kindness and honesty not only changes the creature’s fate but also opens
the door to her own dreams coming true. In the end, they both discover love,
trust, and the rewards of staying true to one’s word.
