“Canadian writer Alice Munro, winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize
for Literature, has died at the age of 92. She became known for her short
stories that explored the lives of ordinary people and that won over millions
of readers around the world. The author said that she was unable to write
novels and that was why she dedicated herself to short stories. In her 6-decade
career, she has released 14 books of short stories. The cause of death was not
disclosed”, informed Renata Vasconcellos.
